Project Overview
Project Objective:The first phase of the warehouse logistics project for a new energy industry factory in Huizhou aims to achieve comprehensive automation of the production process, from raw material storage to finished product shipment. To this end, the factory has introduced Jaten robots, covering a range of equipment including shelving systems, material racks, semi-automated AGVs, bin-type AGVs, tug vehicles, overhead roller conveyors, stacking robots, reciprocating lifts, continuous lifts, narrow-aisle three-way forklifts, high-level unmanned forklifts, and material handling carts. Additionally, the project includes supporting logistics software systems and the WMS system.
Project Challenges
Cross-Floor Coordination Issues: AGVs need to seamlessly switch between multiple floors in a complex, multi-floor environment, facing challenges such as path planning conflicts and communication delays.
Harsh Environmental Adaptation: Requirements like ground flatness (≤3mm), temperature and humidity control (0°C–45°C), and anti-static conditions must be met precisely, or AGV operation stability will be affected.
Multi-System Compatibility Risks: When interfacing with third-party equipment such as visual inspection systems and automatic doors, there are risks of incompatible communication protocols or failure in coordination.
Manual Labor Replacement Bottleneck: Traditional material handling relies on manual operations, which are inefficient and prone to errors. Automation is required to achieve error-free, high-precision operations.
High Intensity Maintenance Pressure: Continuous 24-hour operation places higher demands on equipment durability, fault response times, and spare parts management.
